My ancestors hail from Ireland, hence the ultra fair skin, freckles, & patience for the rain. When celebrating, the older folks donned their emerald apparel & called it 'wearing their greens.' So here's to the land of smiling eyes!
I so love making custom designed goods...it gives me new ideas, connects me to others in this big ol' world, and honors me that someone would trust me enough to make something for their baby, friend, wedding, etc... It's one of the aspects of Etsy that I truly love, the site really lends itself to this fantastic creative interaction. Some of my best selling items have been borne from requests. Whether it's finding a specific fabric, embroidering a baby name, or creating a whole new bag- I'm up for the challenge. Hooray for sunshine! I love these Oregon days- just when you think you can't take another drip of rain or overcast sky, the sun peeks out. These are the best days for taking drives & feeding the ducks - but they also make me a bit antsy to pull out the sandals, sundresses, & bronzer. With the official start of spring exactly two weeks away I thought I'd celebrate by sharing a few Quiltish items that welcome flower buds, chirping birds, and the switch from cocoa to lemonade.
