It Is Well With My Soul

 Lots of new things hit the shop this month. Like these clutches, which are some of my personal favorites. I love the details and am always looking to add new little touches.  But of course, along with the new things & excitement there's always a few bumps in the road. We've had a crazy couple of months around here, put our house in Cambridge on the market, experienced the wild roller coaster of the real estate world, and then ultimately took it off. A few shattered dreams there along with it. But, ultimately, I had to just be at peace with a dream deferred … so I created the photo below with "It is well with my soul." It's the hymn that gets me through hard times. And of course, sewing. Lots of sewing therapy :)
