I love quilting. Loved it the first time I made a very uneven, crooked, and lumpy baby quilt. Things have improved....but I always dreaded the basting part of it. Making the quilt sandwich if you will. Amy, from Park City Girl has written an excellent quilt basting tutorial on her blog with fantastic photos & clear descriptions....a must see!

Basting the quilt--the only part of quilting I do not enjoy. Which is why I have sent a lot of my quilts to machine quilters. But I really want to start doing them all myself, from beginnign to end. So I guess "basting" and I will have to learn to be on better terms with each other.
