Baby Finds

Hooray! One of my very best friends in the world is expecting her first baby! She & I met almost 5 years ago at a school were teaching at in Boston.  Both newcomers to the area & our husbands both busy with their graduate degrees...we bonded instantly. From the very first day she extended such generosity & warmth and I thought, 'friends like this are one in a million.' And it's true. She's a rare gem & will be a mother I admire for sure. 

With her in D.C. and us in Portland I'm so disappointed to not be able to share this special time with her by browsing baby boutiques & helping with the nursery & chatting over baby books....

So....I tried to recreate that feeling across the miles & have done a wee bit of shopping on my own & hope she likes my finds! I've kept her style & nursery colors of celery, yellow, & white in mind and found these baby lovelies:
