Topic: Business Book List & Recommendations
One thing is for sure. I like to read. My mama started me on the habit of reading every single night before bed. And every summer as far back as I can remember I've enjoyed returning home from the library with a big ol stack of summer reads.
Different by Youngme Moon - One of my favorite marketing/business books ever. Written by my husband's marketing professor at Harvard...I've been lucky enough to meet her & can see how her teachings started my husband off on his marketing path....an interesting & provoking read.
Word Craft by Alex Frankel - Have yet to crack up this book, but look forward to reading more on the practice of finding just the right words
Design it Yourself - my husband brought this book home from work ages ago...I've flipped through but am anxious to look more carefully at the projects & designs inside
Good to Great by Jim Collins - A business classic. If I can get past the initial graphs I'm sure I'll love this book...
Buying In by Rob Walker - I found this one on our bookshelf. I think I've read it before...but am going to give it another look. This author coined the word 'murketing' which I see around a lot.
Brand Hijack by Alex Wipperfurth - Interesting read whether you care about business or not. Kind of a sociological perspective. My husband raves about this book & I'm totally enthralled with the first half.
Mavericks at Work by William Taylor & Polly La Barre- I finished this book last week & hope to go over it again, taking a few more notes. It's just really interesting & pertains to a wide variety of business folks- big fries & small fries alike.
Passion Brands by Kate Newlin - Library find, the tag line drew me in, " why some brands are just gotta have, drive all night for, and tell all your friends about."

It's not on my shelf yet, but I want to read Crush It! Delivering Happiness is a good one. I'll have to check out the ones on your list; most I don't know about. :)
i always read before bed, too. though it seems i fall asleep before having the chance to get much reading in!!
i am about to order Creative, Inc. I also just picked up Tipping Point, which I've been wanting to read for a while. The Handmade Marketplace is another that is sitting on my table waiting to be picked up.
I also love reading design + process books, I find a lot of inspiration there. Right now I'm enjoying flipping through Printing by Hand by Lena Corwin. Loads of pretty things in there...
