I'm totally amazed & moved by the barn quilt movement- folks paint quilt blocks on their barns as a gesture of community & heritage. Started by one woman....and now branches out across several states. How impressive is that? Someday I'd like to roam around & see them for myself.

On another note, change is a brewin' over here...thinking about lots of newness lately (which is probably how I found myself aimlessly browsing sites & blogs today until I stumbled upon these beatuies!) ...will be writing more soon, but until then, thought I'd share these amazing bits of design & color.

how funny! just yesterday i was driving through an area not far from me but one that i have not yet really explored, when i came across all of these amazing barns with quilting squares on them. and i thought to myself i need to do some research online to find out what there were! and now here is your post!!!
